RILEY, Ellis "Earl" (1947 - 2019)
Mr. Ellis “Earl” Riley, 71, of Callebs Creek, passed away Monday morning, February 25, 2019 at his home. He was the son of the late Pearl Riley born on April 25, 1947 in Knox County.
Earl was a former truck driver with Commonwealth Tires, of the Baptist faith and was an avid collector.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Bertha Riley and a brother, Bradley John Riley.
Survivors include four sisters, Kitty Riley of Hinkle, Cleo Messer and husband, Richard, of Cincinnati, OH, Cleta Vickers and husband, Pete, of Tyner and Bonnie Riley of Callebs Creek; a brother, Robert Riley and wife, Gracie, of Callebs Creek; nieces and nephews, James Bowles, Ruth Cheek, Clarence Bowles, Lois Moore, Rachel Riley, Jonathan Riley and Jason Messer; among other loved ones and dear friends.
His funeral service will be conducted at the Dripping Springs Baptist Church Thursday, February 28 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Tip Smith and Rev. Mickie Smith officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Callebs Creek Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Clarence Bowles, Cody Cheek, James Bowles, James Moore, Jason Messer and Marvin Bowles. Serving as honorary bearers will be Anthony Philbeck, Pete Vickers, Richard Messer and Jonathan Riley.
Friends may call at the church Wednesday after 6 P.M. until the funeral hour Thursday.
